[Part 2] About 25 Nov 20

 Continuation...

Still in Kinokuniya. Oh 1 thing, there was also this ongoing promo of value buy on the 2nd floor but, honestly not so interesting. And some of the books looked super old too. I remembered the last time I went to the 2nd floor was like, 12 years ago? I was in Form Upper 6, with my friend finding revision materials for our Visual Art subject. Teori tu memang aku menipu/menggoreng je dok jawab soalan, mengayat acah power. Seni itu subjektif kan? Nothing is wrong kalau kita boleh terangkan and if the explanation makes sense plus believable/relatable, you're gonna get marks. Kertas 1 tu jela yang selamatkan SV aku. Kertas 2 tu not bad la tapi kerja kursus dapat C- 🤦🏻‍♀️. Campur tolak darab bahagi total dapatlah B+. Selamat 1 paper STPM aku~

Dah melalut pula cerita pasal Form 6. Ok let's continue back about Kino. The 2nd floor also housed books about architecture, and I just so love browsing them. However, I think that I may have a change of heart towards it. When I was younger, I thought big, magnificent architectures were great. I may get impressed with super large building with large spaces, yard and all. But as I grow older, and now even older (weh can't believe I'm already 30 weh), I begin to love more about the idea of compact spaces that could include all necessities. Like if I randomly doodle a dream house, it tend to be small with everything I need crammed together. Like this pic below (sorry I dunno how to draw plan but it's a small house with sort of mezzanine floor for the bedroom, bookshelf on the wall beside stairs, closet for clothes and necessities beside the bed, bathroom under the far right end, kitchen under the stairs until left end, TV under the bedroom floor and living room on the opposite)

Phew...can you imagine?

But I will admit that I was inspired a lot by games that I play, I think I got this idea from FF8, of the house the character visit in one of the town, either Timber or Winhill.

So since that architecture shelves didn't interests me so much anymore, I browsed the promotional books (which I managed to get an N4 Nihongo revision book at a good price). Yeah that's about it on the 2nd floor. But you know, there's this Coffee Club, if I'm not mistaken that's the name, at the other end of the 2nd floor. Hey, that spot actually looked good to hangout but yeah, I was alone and sometimes, well, many times it actually wasn't that fun to have coffee alone you know. Like things get better when you have another person with you. Eating/drinking alone is something I can do, but certainly not my favorite.

I was ready to go to the cashier when another book caught my eyes, The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. I don't actually know much about the story but I know that the film version was one of my eldest brother's favorite film, and the song Neverending Story by Limahl is such an easy listening too! Have you heard of it? Well if you are my age or younger I don't think you are familiar but you can search 'em now. I love the perk of being the youngest born in 1990 with brothers and sister born in the 80s. Whatever they watch/listen to, I will be there to listen as well and I picked up a lot of cool songs when I was still a kid. I listened to

Aha-Take on Me, Alphaville-Forever Young,

Roxette, No Doubt, The Cranberries, Madonna, M.Nasir, all those Cinta Untuk Nabila, Taman Rashidah Utama, Masih Aku Terasa...and with dad listening to Rod Stewart and Light n Easy (now Lite FM), I got all the dosage of oldies I would ever need. Mama's taste in song was more local like Ziana Zain, Fauziah Latif, etc. Then I developed a liking to Classical since I was 7. Thanks to Baba who bought a computer in 1997 that comes with Encarta Encyclopedia 97 CD. That's a different story. Wasn't it about The Neverending Story I was talking about earlier in this paragraph? Lol.

Since my eldest brother's birthday is coming in about 2 weeks time, I decided to buy that book as well. A gift for his 40th birthday. I don't know if he's gonna like it or not but, I just feel right about getting it. I hope he'll be happy with the gift because, it is such a rewarding feeling if I could make someone's day. I loved the feeling when someone is happy because of my deed, I kind of like, felt the happiness doubled on me until my heart could burst. That's why if you have the ability to make someone's day, do it. You will never be poor by being a giver. And sometimes, you just have to smile to someone to make their day and that certainly wouldn't cost anything at all. Trust me, eventhough nobody could be trusted in this world xD

After making payment, I was already drained from all the walking and browsing but I still want to go to Cold Storage for some homey stuffs. Organic veges are super expensive and not much choices, Moccona Coffee was like RM8 above the price from 99Speedmart but Speedmart doesn't have the No.10 Dark Roast 😭. Oh, maybe have to browse Shopee in case got better price there.

And I went to Maxis Centre (finally~) but the line was like a snake. So bye bye I don't have the capacity to wait on that line and I decided to go home.

I arrived home about 5.10pm and was superrr tired from all the journeys. That night I went out again because 2nd brother ordered to pickup food from AnW. Tomorrow, 26th Nov is gonna be my birthday and guess what, I will be going out again because Starbucks sent me email for free cake yeayyy (with purchase of beverage of course, hmm).

Back to 30 Nov, eh nope nope, it's already 01 Dec early morning~

I am ending this entry now and it is raining hard outside. Isn't it great to be able to end writing about the day in the same atmosphere the entry begins? Well, I think so. Bye for now 😘

P/s: I wish I took pictures of the books I bought so I could paste 'em here but I'm such a sucker for photos and documenting stuffs, so maybe I'll put the photo later, if I ever will snap a picture of them, LoL.
