Eyes On Me

After some time of not writing, the urge came and here I am.
I loved to write, because there's a lot that I can release through the composition of alphabets.
I used to write letters to pen friends, but that was the story of more than 5 years ago.
From 2003 to 2006 were my active period of corresponding letters.
What good memories! Everything was ruined once the internet became accessible to everyone.
Once people can surf through their smart phone, once we get financial liberty and could afford our own broadband, duh.

The only good thing that came is this; blog. But not that good actually, just better than any other things because it lets you write whatever and as lengthy as you want. But the bad thing is, it is public. Good place to share opinion, bad place for personal privacy. So if you want to say "this is my problem and none of your business don't butt in", you're not entirely right. People 'are' going to butt in because internet is a public place, if you don't wish people to come asking this and that about your problems then don't put 'em here. Write it in your diary, I mean, that one special book we possess only for our own eyes. (not facebook please)

So now I want to share about one good thing that I loved so much. A song. The title is 'Eyes on Me'. This was, and still is one of my favourite song from 2002, which means 11 years ago, when I was barely 12! Well, you know, how little kids can like a love song and dreams so much about love. But as I grow older, the lyric is the one which capture me the most. No empty lovey-dovey dreams like when I was a kid. Here, I present you with the lyric, the song and the beautiful video from the game Final Fantasy 8. (oh I didn't tell you it's the soundtrack of the game, did I?).

Enjoy (^_-)

Eyes On Me - sung by Faye Wong

Whenever sang my songs
On the stage, on my own
Whenever said my words
Wishing they would be heard
I saw you smiling at me
Was it real or just my fantasy
You'd always be there in the corner
Of this tiny little bar

My last night here for you
Same old songs, just once more
My last night here with you?
Maybe yes, maybe no
I kind of liked it your way
How you shyly placed your eyes on me
Oh, did you ever know?
That I had mine on you

(Chorus)
Darling, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer

So let me come to you
Close as I wanted to be
Close enough for me
To feel your heart beating fast
And stay there as I whisper
How I loved your peaceful eyes on me
Did you ever know
That I had mine on you

Darling, so share with me
Your love if you have enough
Your tears if you're holding back
Or pain if that's what it is
How can I let you know
I'm more than the dress and the voice
Just reach me out then
You will know that you're not dreaming

Repeat Chorus

 Chao~
