Em, hi. This is actually yesterday's news that I read on The Star at the NATION columns. I felt like sharing the news with any of you readers plus my personal opinion although that might not be important to anybody but...yeah...that's it.
Rosmah: Najib too busy for Raya preparations
KUALA LUMPUR: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor will be handling most of the preparations for this coming Raya as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is busy with the upcoming general election.
"I told Najib that we needed to repaint the house but he always tells me he's busy. Even when we break fast, he talks about the elections." she said.
Rosmah said it showed that Najib was dedicated to politics and the people.
When asked if she knew when the elections will be called, the Prime Minister's wife said her husband was keeping her in the dark.
"When I asked him, he would just tease me and say, 'you'll just have to wait and see'," she said at the Cheras Recreation Centre after handling out duit rayaworth RM100 and food to 430 students and special-needs children yesterday.
Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras (YPS) chairman Datuk Syed Ali Al-Habshee said a total of 2,000 children from low-income families and those who had disabilities would receive aid.
He added that over RM400,000 in donations from corporations and contributors would be distributed to needy individuals selected by YPC and Cheras UMNO Youth.
Can you see the paragraphs in different colour? That's because, I would only like to comment on that part. Why I'm copying the whole news? So there would be no accusation that I tried to hide the other part of the news because of sabotage intention blablabla you know right~
Again, please bear in mind that this is my personal opinion. You're free to take this news in any way you want, no hypnosis intention *sarcasm*
(referring to the news)
So...is it something that we need to know? I mean, about repainting the house and about how eager our Prime Minister is about elections? It sounds so self-centered and insensitive towards other people. How about those people who are living in poverty that may not have so much money even to just have a cheap baju raya? Wanna argue about all those bantuan that have been given?
Okay, let's leave it at that. The bantuan were given to needy people, there's no doubt about it. But even so, we still have our brothers and sisters who are suffering the war and whatnot in the Middle East and we're here talking about repainting house?
Before anyone attacked me with gazillion stuffs, here I am admitting that I also did not do anything to help except praying for their safety in God's hand.
I only think that stuffs like the paragraph I highlighted above are irrelevant to be published in such a reputable newspaper. It is utterly zero when it comes to showing the nation that they care. Without that part, the news about giving bantuan to the Yayasan can also be delivered right?
And, politics and people don't go together. Except that politics used the people power to gain self-victory, if I may say :)
