Surprised Sahur

Not as exciting as the title may sounds though =.="
Nonetheless, it surprised me so...count as a surprise event-lah kan.

I went to bed last night all prepared to eat yesterday's pulut with serunding daging for sahur.
Mum cooked the pulut for breaking fast but due to the presence of other foods like murtabak and the very-hot-and-spicy-fried rice-the-one-that-make-your-ear-and-throat-hurts-for-swallowing-it, the popularity of pulut plummeted to zero. Haha kejamnya~

I woke up to my sisters calling frantically saying it's 5:25 a.m.

Sis: Wake up & eat, I've cooked something healthy (considering she's waking up a health freak of the house)

Me: Huh? What is?

Sis: Nothing much, veggies.

Me: Oh...means have rice also?

Sis: Yeah.

Okay so where's the surprise?

It's the presence of the veggies and rice itself! Sis is a person who's always doing her own business and having her suddenly cook for sahur is like a 'Whoa!'

My big outspoken mouth was about to slip out things like "eh, I thought I wanna eat pulut and serunding, but you cooked already it's okay-lah" but I was quick to get a grip. Phew, lucky was I. Know why?

It's a bad thing to actually dismissed the effort of the people around you. Especially when it's a rare occasion. You know, the best gift for a person who cooked sahur is to see everyone of the house eating 'em up. The indescribable feeling only felt by people who made it.

With that, I ate a full plate of rice + veggies and a spoonful of pulut and serunding. The presence of the rice didn't upset anything at all.

I love you sis :')
