Television Directing
Groupwork. As production team to direct a program. Must have client. 6 person per group. Cool and exciting but in super slow progress now. Biar lambat asalkan selamat *cewah* But the work is endless commitment for the whole sem.. Class every Monday 8.30 a.m. - 12.20 p.m.
Organizational Communication
Groupwork. About ethics. It's a weekly I-want-to-see-your-progress thingy. Have to choose a company and conduct interview. Every Tuesday 8.30 a.m. - 11.20 p.m.
Electronic Media Management
No update. For the meantime, having fun learning in class. Every Tuesday 2.10 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.
Comparative Broadcast System
1.) Groupwork: Pick a country, search the issues about broadcasting. I'm the 10th group to present. Still haven't start anything.
2.) Pairwork: Pick two countries. From different types. Compare the broadcasting systems. Report only, no presentation. Still haven't start anything also, not thinking about it until I made this post. Oh...
Class every Wednesday 8.30 a.m. - 11.20 a.m.
Mandarin Language (Part 3)
Just the video project. Haven't done any script, haven't study for test. This sem got online test, wow so advanced liao. Eh got la another thing. We learn writing Chinese character. As homework. I do little by little when the mood strikes. Class every Wednesday 1.50 p.m. - 3.50 p.m. (My laoshi this sem is the best! <3)
International Marketing
Another elective class aside from Organizational Communication. Only me and another classmate pick this from our class. Got final exam liao.
1.) Groupwork: Case study on how to market automobile to another country according to the principles and culture learnt from this class. Haven't got any group yet. Because both of us are together-gether and almost ALL the others are those from Lendu that I'm not really familiar with. Hope there'll be a group that will "kutip" us today...
2.) Individual assignment. 2 assignments in fact. Have to search some kind of 5-7 pages journal about company or anything related to international marketing, summarize and give a half-page comment. Sounds easy? Still haven't start anything. What makes this hard is newspaper article is not valid, oh my oh my...
This one class every Friday 6.10 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.
EeeeeeHHHH???? No class on Thursday ah???
Before this I thought it's confirmed every Thursday I have to meet my "beloved" advisor, for Academic Writing. But there's a bonus story from yesterday's experience which I guess will make my Thursdays free after this :)
Bonus Story~
Yesterday (13/10/2011), as I was nervously getting ready to meet him, Shi texted me saying she had her business done with her advisor, and mine's car (my advisor's car) was parked at the faculty, means that he was there, okay~ So Shi said she'll be waiting at KFC, she told me to take my time. Okay-okay...
So routinely every Thursday is baju kurung day. My advisor is this meticulous person that will ask you to go back and change should he find you dressing inappropriately. I always took this safety measure each time I met him. And I bring my pendrive. I thought I don't wanna print the paperwork anymore because it might just waste paper when I did wrongly and he scribble-scribble to correct it for me. But then when I think again about those past experiences (he will hulur tangan expecting my paper as soon as I was seated in front) I decided to print them on a recycle paper. Yeah, greener to the nature kan? :D
So I waited for an hour. Usually 10.30 a.m. but I waited until 11.30 something, taking the air from level 5 and seeing all the other students and lecturers on the ground, parking motor, kereta, laughing2 with friends~ When I thought it's been long enough, I went in and poke my head to the corridor. His room is still locked. Oh well.
I want to return outside when I heard this heavy and fast footsteps coming from the staircase. Terus tak jadi keluar. He came in and told me he can't see me on that day. He's too busy and got too many work to do. He apologized. And told me to see him on the next week. On Wednesday, 11.30 a.m.
So this means that every Thursday on wards there'll be no session with him la? Yay...I thought. Although I'm a bit disappointed but alhamdulillah I don't feel like getting angry in front of his face or felt like punching his nose whatever violent thing. I went on, slightly sighing as I went down the stairs. Oops, hope he didn't heard the slight *haihhhh*
There goes the not-so-interesting bonus story.
Out of all those things, I guess I'm just 2% on the way. Let's buck up and do it now!
Perjalanan seribu langkah bermula dari langkah yang pertama, and now I'm trying to loosen my foot that got stucked in a deep hole on the first step. There's another 999 steps full of challenges and unexpected circumstances to come.
