Smitten by nostalgia

Tomorrow will be my off day, yay :D
And today was a very good day, alhamdulillah..
On the way back from work I get off the bus at Pasar Seni, and I thought why not I have a look at Hiro Comic World one of my favourite place when I was younger hehe..

That place sure has changed, and the choice of Jdrama, Kdrama and Anime DVDs weren't as much as it had been several years ago, say 5 years maybe?

Still, I did get myself something though. At first I thought of buying the anime movie collection of Studio Ghibli when I suddenly caught sight of the price, it's more than a hundred bucks. So I just forget about it and began hunting for an anime that had been sitting in my mind for several years also - Kimi Ni Todoke.

I bet it was the time when I was still at school, that I thought of buying this but ended up thinking I'd buy next time blablabla. And it got 50% discount, for members only. Better become a member to enjoy the privilege, no?

Ok, so let's see. The shop now have more souvenirs and they do have great keychain collections with shapes of cute breads, T-Shirt collections (which I don't think KL dwellers would give much attention since the T-Shirts are more like for the tourists).

Besides this shop there is an accessories shop selling purses, awesome whole loads of you-name-it what kind of glittery necklace that you like. Like them big? Shiny silvery thingy? Anything for your dinner, party or just for any occasion. Sold at dirt cheap price like five to ten bucks per necklace. Well, have to see it yourself though.

If I wasn't too eager to come home I would've spent my whole evening there, but hey, I treasure my home time okay, especially when I only got one off day this week.

Anyway, do visit Hiro Comic World at Petaling Street. The best way to explore Kuala Lumpur is by taking public transport and walk. No way to park your car in front of the shop, no time to think about the sun is scorching hot. Bring an umbrella if you can melt so easily. Besides, walking is healthy, yeah~

I know some of us might not hail from Kuala Lumpur and yes, we tend to be scared to walk alone along the road especially when we encounter the entrance to back alley. But here's some tips;

i) walk with a friend who knows the place and how to go about it.

ii) if you need assistance, go and ask from the shopkeeper, not some random guys besides the road.

iii) never never never appear as though you don't know the place. Don't make too much head turns, if you sense you're getting lost, find the nearest shop that looks could be trusted and ask for directions.

iv) don't walk around places you don't know at night. NEVER.

v) take notice of the buildings around the place. It might be useful for future journey.

That's about it that I can think of now. And this evening, I was really smitten by nostalgia along my walk. Central Market, Petaling Street, Kotaraya, KTM were places that I have loved since I was small. Interesting places. Must visit.
